Bayer HealthCare allocates grants for the exploration of attractive, novel drug targets in the fields of: Oncology, Gynecology, Cardiology and Hematology.
The grants fund research on novel drug targets as a basis for the development of new therapeutic approaches, as well as research on disease-related biomarkers in the therapeutic fields mentioned below, by combining expertise from industry and academia.
Target must be a nucleic acid or a protein (e.g. an enzyme, a receptor) whose activity can be modified by a drug.
Target should have shown to be effective/ mechanistically involved in the disease by relevant in vitro or in vivo models. Target is disease-modifying and/or has a proven function in the pathophysiology of a disease.

Grant applications can only be submitted via the electronic submission platform.
