Turkish National Contact Point for Health is contacting us regarding Horizon 2020 Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing 2016-2017 calls. Turkey has been an associated country in the Framework Programmes since FP6 and is an associated country in Horizon 2020. As the Framework Programmes National Coordination Office, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) has established incentives to facilitate collaboration between European and Turkish stakeholders.
They would like to investigate possible collaborations for the 2016 calls and future calls. If you have any projects in your mind for specific calls, they would be glad to inform you about Turkish researchers and stakeholders who may fit in the consortium according to your needs. With its growing economy, increasing research capacity and sustainable healthcare system, partners from Turkey would be and added value in terms of economical and public impact as well as pilot applications.
Currently, turkish NCP are supporting the travel costs of Turkish participants for a consortium meeting, and in the near future they will be supporting international coordinators participating in a consortium meeting in Turkey as well.
